2009-05-14 - New gig
We haven't played in a long time now due to our various residences, but we'll visit Lillan at the end of the month and it will be exciting to brush the dust off and rock the snus once again. ;)

2008-07-06 - Summertime
Summertime is here and not much has changed since last the message was posted (sorry about the absence of updates), we’re still in the same spot, still keeping a low profile while rehearsing trying to explore new ground, and we’ve experimented a bit with tunings to see what fits our sound and playing best. And as far as the new songs have turned out they seem to be heavy and more suitable for live appearances than some of our older tunes, not all of them are heavy, it’s still melodic and some of it are fast, but overall they have more of a mid-tempo beat to them and we’re also trying to make the songs less exhausting to play without losing the riff-based hooks. Well, that’s about it and as stated before, it takes a long time to figure it all out and we work best when not pressured, I hope! ;)
Beside that we’re preparing for the moving of our rehearsal room, omfg!

Enjoy the season with some barbeque and beers, it’s only summer once a year. =)


2008-04-07 - Second sign of life.
Well what's there to tell?
There are no activities planned at the moment due to us having spent the last couple of months in our rehearsal-room trying to write some new songs, and it sure takes some time to get them right, so I guess we'll stay busy for a while. In the meantime, stay well. /Crystalis

2007-11-28 - Breaking the silence
Long time no hear.
We're online and back on track after a year of virtual oblivion. We've suffered some major webpage trouble but somehow we managed to overcome whatever issues were in our way to get this page working again. (I guess simon is the one who deserves the credit for this).

So what's up nowadays?

We took a well earned break for some months after the release of the Icons promo to recharge our batteries but are now back fully loaded and writing on some new material while having tons of fun again like we used to.

2006-10-18 - Vox and breaks
The vocals are nearly done and the whole recording process is slowly facing the end. We're now forced to take a 2 week long break with all recording before we can finish it off (tight schedule as usual). So it will aproximately take another 3 weeks until the demo is done. In the meantime we'll rehearse for gigs and try to write some new stuff.

2006-10-07 - Bass
The basstracks has all been hammered down and we're moving on to the vox.

2006-09-20 - News!
The word just reached us the entrance to the gig at Kåren in Piteå is 30:- for students and 50:- for guests. The guest tickets must be bought at Kårenkansliet in Piteå. Our guess is that you have to do it daytime when people work.

I repeat:

Entrance guests: 50:-

For those of you not able to come see us, don’t despair, as it seem the gig at Kåren will be filmed and you will be able to watch it on "Student-TV" from your comfortable sofa at home sometime in the future. I love when solutions present themselves =)

DEMO-REC:
The recording of the guitars took start yesterday and will continue tonight and hopefully I’ll be done by the end of this week so we can move on to the bass rec.

2006-03-20 - Pictures.

2006-03-10 - Deadline 25/3
Currently the mixing is still in progress, a few delays have forced themselves in between due to us all having a personal life to run beside the band, but when the songs are done which according to Rikard will be at the end of the month we’ll put them up on the page for download.
So the deadline is 25/3.

A lot of plans and ideas concerning this promo exist but those ideas all lies far ahead as it seem.
Our first ambition though is to let a drawer create a cover illustration to the promo to add a more professional touch to it, but at the moment our artist is a very busy man, so know that nothing will happen in the coming month and all we can do is wait (it’ll be worth the wait). But by the time we have the cover done we will put it on print together with the promo and put it up for sale.

Cover or not, the songs will of course be available for download for those who enjoy the convenience of mp3.

2006-03-03 - Mixing
[1.] The whole recording is completed since two weeks or so and at the moment Rikard is doing a damn fine job with the guitar/bass sound + mixing and mastering. We all have good faith in this!

[2.] We are also planning on entering the studio again shortly after this release. Plans, plans… but let’s not get ahead of ourselves, let’s first wrap up this recording properly.

[3.] Pictures from the latest gigs will be put up at the site in time so keep an eye open. Until next update, we would like to send the biggest possible thank you to all of you who keep supporting us.

2006-02-15 - Vox
The whole recordning-process has been kind of idle lately (surely due to many factors )but I just heard the news that the vocals to the last song will be recorded on sunday, well.. fuckin Amen to that! ;)

2006-02-08 - Vocals
Some updates for you all.

We have changed the lyrics to Mask of Sorrow since the song structure did not fit the music as well as it first seemed. Therefore it is re-written with a better result.

Secondly!
At the moment Mats is caged in the studio (closet) working with studio engineer Rikard on the scream/growl-vocals (last piece of the puzzle before the mixing begins) and with a voice that awakes the dead he is literally screaming his lungs out trying to brings this hell into one piece …and he is half done!

More to come!

2006-01-13 - Friday 13
Friday 13:th, the date of the damned and here we come! We start off with the drum-tracks today and perhaps some guitars if we’re lucky and really fast working.

I’ve been listening all morning to the pre-recording we made yesterday and it fucking rocks!! Not the sound but the songs! If the real recordings goes as well as we hope they will this demo will become a beast far more fatal than we ever dared dreaming of. ;) Keep your eyes peeled!

Breathe out people, we have changed the day of playing at "Lördagsrocken" to 28 OF JANUARY!!.

2006-01-08 - GIG CANCELLED
Sadly the gig at Lördagsrock the 4 Feb has been cancelled. Simon has some personal matters to attend to that day that inevitably came up. But we have contacted the arrangers and are looking over the possibilities of a rescheduling so that hopefully we will be able to play there at another date. We’ll keep you informed as soon as we know more!!

2005-12-12 - Studio
Yesterday we held a meeting and came to a decision about where to record and our choice of studio will doubtlessly be the Noisegate studio!! The whole procedure will begin in January on Friday the 13´th in 2006 and we are all so looking forward to this finally happening (after five and a half years of playing together without even one single demo-tape made), so we are at the time rehearsing our (b)asses off driven by pure inspiration! 3 songs will be recorded and we will pick the songs carefully. Friday the 13´th will be a very special date for us! We will keep you posted on further details. /Björn

Hello everybody! So what´s new this time?
Well we´ve agreed on a new date when the four of us can attend to a recoding, no studio is booked yet though, (to be continued). These lost images earlier mentioned seem to have found their way back to us and will probably be up on the page in the next few days, hopefully.

2005-08-20 - Delays
Hello everybody! Writing some sorry news for you to read and spill a tear to. Our recording session is violently delayed.. due to us not being so quick to take action that is. We´ve made contact with studiomaster Göran but agreed to call back at another time to set a date and discuss some details.. and that just never happened, it´s as simple as that, no excuses.. it ran out in the sand. BUT approximately the recording will take place by the end of September so hang in there!
And those photos taken by Peter Andersson from the gig at Lillan... they seem to be lost or something because we still haven´t seem them yet and we don´t know who has them or what have happened to them, Peter has sent them to us but they seem to´ve been stuck on their way.. or something.

Well at least you now what´s up.

2005-07-13 - Summer
Hey there everybody! Hope you are enjoying the summer, we sure are! ;) So what is happening with this band? Not much at the moment I tell you. We have rehearsed for an upcoming recording this summer/autumn but that is practicly it. No date for the demo recording is yet set or decided but we´ll just have to wait and see where some talking and a few phonecalls can take us.
